Nehru family roots. Who are they?

The mark of intelligence lies in asking fundamental relevant questions.
Years of Mughal rule & British colonisation killed the spark of questioning in Indians. It was a perfect condition for the Nehrus to pull wool over the eye of Indians who had come to relate white skin as the eligibility to rule India.

We are told that Nehrus belong to Kashmiri Kaul Brahmins. That Motilal Nehru was one of the richest men of his times when being rich then was impossible without British support even as a chieftain of any area. If he amasses wealth, how did he? How did Brits permit?

Had the Nehrus been Kashmiris, some roots ought to be available in Kashmir. Except for the fact that the Nehrus were close friends to Kauls, Fotedars, Dhars and Hakshars, no proof was made  in defence of this claim. Fact that the Nehru clan did not move their little finger to help the Kashmiri Pandits when they were displaced gives strong thoughts that their claim to the community could be a pretension for hoodwinking public opinion.

There are claims that Nehru’s ancestors left valley during the rule of King Farukkhsiyar. As their house was located near the banks of some canal or Nehr in DELHI, the family came to be known as Nehrus.

Remember Gangu Brahmin? He who was instrumental in the capture of the two sons of Guru Gobind Singh  to the Nawab of Sirhind by an act of betrayal was supposedly a relative of the Nehrus. After Nawab of Sirhind was vanquished by Banda Vairaagi, Gangu escaped to Kashmir to meet Farukkhsiyar. Some lineage..

The 13th volume of the Encyclopaedia of  Indian War of Independence by MK Singh unravels the  Nehru mysteries. It’s authenticity increased when we learn Govt of India suppressed the book.

The earliest known ancestor of Nehru seems one Ghiyasuddin Ghazi. Prior to the first war of Indian independence which Brits call the Indian mutiny of 1857 which saw the slaughter of more than a lakh Indians, he was the Police officer or the city Kotwal of Delhi in the court of Bahadur Shah II. He married many times which was usual. Husna Begum was one.  When the Brits took up door to door elimination of Mughals in Delhi, Ghazi changed his name to Gangadhar Nehru to escape death. Note the Dhar that was embossed in this name. Gangadhar Nehru was Motilal Nehru’s father. All his children were rechristened to save the wrath of British.

Motilal Nehru was the founder of Nehru dynasty. He was the Congress President during 1928-29. He ensured his son Jawaharlal Nehru succeeded him as Congress President. No elections. Just handed over office. Ofcourse, this is a routine now.

Motilal Nehru in Muslim tradition married many times. Muslim ladies Daleepa Bai, Thussu Rahman Bayi were amongst them. His children were: Syud Hussein, Manzoor Ali Shoktha, Jaddan Bai, Mehar Ali Shoktha, Sarup, Jawaharlal, Ratanlal, Krishna. How does a Hindu father name his kids with Muslim names? Is this common in India?

Motilal despite failing in English in Muir Central College Allahabad went to Cambridge for Law. As a lawyer in India amassed wealth. He had  Brits as friends while he also claimed to fight for freedom. He later joined the Swaraj Party and sought to enter the British sponsored Councils. Monkey walking as a patriot and a friend of the Brits?

Motilal betrayed Indian interests with his Nehru report of 1928. In a counter to the Simon Commission report, Motilal suggested India get a dominion status from Brits like Australia, New Zealand and Canada instead of complete independence. This sowed the seeds of India Pakistan partition.

Jawaharlal was born in a brothel area of Allahabad. 77  Mirganj. Motilal had a house in that area and gave away a part of the house to a sex worker Imambada. Later Motilal bought a house from another Muslim which became Anand Bhavan.

Jawaharlal’s life is well known was full of flings.
Writing a letter every day for twelve years to Edwina is no mean feat. Romance with Padmaja Naidu, Daughter of Sarojini Naidu as well with Shraddha Mata of Beneras. Running away to meet with Edwina on arrival in London on an official trip as Khushwant Singh exposed or asking Indian Navy to pay tributes to Edwina on her death shows the mind of the Statesman India was believed to have been blessed with for decades. This is the family that claims it owns India as a right.

Story #1 KBR worked in TVS group of companies at Madurai. A devotee of Mahaperiyava, he would visit him whenever work permitted but all his decisions centred on the grace of Mahaperiyava. His first child, a daughter was afflicted by polio and he thou

EVR Periyar: A checkup on facts & propaganda

If you were ever revolted by the plethora of roadside statues in India, then credit for this ever rising craze should go to that one man tsunami that brought about that infamous “Statue Culture “ to EV Ramasamy Naicker known as Periyar to his followers. As was usual with Dravidian politics, this focus and obsession of statues  ironically began as an anti idol movement to reason out faith and beliefs of Hinduism to pamper to Islamic and Christian fundamentalists and as admiration of anything western.  Breaking of idols of Lord Ganesha in Salem when Congress ruled Tamilnadu and India during early 1950s didn’t elicit even murmurs of intolerance as Hindus were subdued for over a thousand years and Secular congress was a mere continuation of that colonial British rule that was indifferent and insensitive to majoritarian Hindu sentiments. EVR called Idols as lifeless stones and called out those beliefs of honouring and worshipping them as crass and superstitious. Because of fundamental con

Recent Experience at Kamakshi’s abode Kanchipuram

After going through the trauma of spinal fractures & the surgery that followed it was my first visit to Kanchipuram in three years. Earlier I have had extensive contacts for darshan as a government official but this time we decided we will be just another ordinary disciples.  We had one Chandrasekar, a junior employee now retired to guide us to temples. When we reached Kamakshi temple, we found huge crowd of thousands. I was wondering how we will have darshan of Lokamata but was sure that She will find a way for us. I was apprehensive about standing in the queue as I was scared someone might push me and hurt my back inadvertently. As we paused in confusion, I found a friend who is a Judge of Madras High Court entering the temple in all paraphernalia with his family. I thought of shouting out for him but something deep down restrained me. Our chaperone Chandrasekhar made few honest phone calls and took us near the back door VIP entrance where a hundred were waiting for darshan. Sudd
