Hyderabad, Rape and Encounter

Its exciting to hear that the arrested rapists were shot dead in an encounter by Police  under pitch dark. We like cinematic drama in real life and Telangana Police successfully transformed criticism on their inability to prevent a gruesome rape plus murder into a brilliant PR move by eliminating their suspects. Of course, with the usual stereotyped story that follows every police encounter case in India like the suspects trying to flee, attempting to steal pistol despite being hand cuffed, etc. On second thoughts, we will now never get to verify the facts of the case. The boys and men were pissed drunk and were not in their senses when they committed the crime, if they were the real criminals. They needed to be brought before law and Law should have ensured justice. But having lost faith in our system and instigated by a frenzied media, people are deeply hurt and want justice as in Wild West movies. Soul satisfying drama indeed! Until we become victims. Anna and Lao Tzu connection.

DMK Leader CN Annadurai is hailed as arignar meaning Scholar. He was the first DMK Leader to become Chief Minister of Tamilnadu. MGR launched a successful political party titled All India ANNA Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in his honour. One of the famous quotes of Annadurai is: "Go to the People, Live with them, Learn from them, Love them, Start with what they know, Build on what they have." Incidentally, the Famous Chinese Philosopher Lao Tzu seems to have read Annadurai’s works as he has quoted the same words in his book, ‘ Tao Te Ching’ when he lived around 600 BC.

Tami, Semmozhi, Barbarians & Politics

It is funny and amusing. The Government of TamilNadu requests Government of India to provide classical status to Tamil Language. Government of India, apparently an expert Body on World Languages suddenly understands the worth of Tamil or bows to Political pressure for political survival, agrees and this action has supposedly added to the glory of Tamil. A Government order to honour a Language that has sustained itself through ages through individual efforts.? How far can a Government go? Have the Government gone crazy like the British of yesteryear's when they thought they have everything on earth under their command. And later at a Conference at Coimbatore to celebrate the Classical status of Tamil where the Participants hailed the Chief Minister as a Saviour, Protector of Tamil language for spending 100s of crores of rupees belonging to the tax payer. So after the Conference, Tamil would feel happy that it found a place among the great languages of the world thanks to a Govern

Are Tatas angels?

Tata..a Different Story. Jamshedji worked in his father's firm till the age of 29. In 1868, he started a trading company with a seed capital of Rs. 21,000. In 1869, he acquired a bankrupt oil mill in Chinchpokli, converted it into a cotton mill and renamed the mill to Alexandra Mill. He sold the mill two years later for a healthy profit. Thereafter he set up a cotton mill in Nagpur in 1874. He christened it Empress Mill on 1 January 1877 when Queen Victoria was proclaimed Empress of India. "Empress Mills" how noble and patriotic!! and even till today the TATAs try and spin this yarn about their nationalist credentials. Well where did he get this "seed capital of Rs. 21,000"? and what would be Rs. 21,000 worth today? when at the time cost of gold was roughly ONE RUPEE AN OUNCE - while today it is above Rs. 39,000 an ounce!!! DRUGS!! The TATAs were drug dealers!! Here are excerpts from the minutes to a Legislative Council meeting held on Friday, March 25,

Time for Kicking out Nawab of Arcot! They were against India.

In Free Independent India, traitors and enemies of India during foreign rule were honoured. While natives continued to suffer as in the hands of the British. Congress Party was never an enemy party of British Raj but a collaborator with it. Hence their over flowing love for the British and hate for all British’s enemies like Subhash Bose, Bhagat Singh, Veer Savarkar, Sardar Patel, etc. The Nawabs of Arcot belong to the lineage of traitors who fought for British against Desis. Now they have shifted drama and are pretending to be patriotic Indians. Sadly they still enjoy protocol advantage from the government which should go along with the abolishment of Privy Purse. But being Muslims, the governments don’t act against Muslims as they do against real Hindu Maharajahs. The thirteenth Nawab, Ghulam Muhammad Ghouse Khan (1825–1855), died without issue and the British annexed the Carnatic Nawabdom applying the doctrine of lapse. Ghouse Khan's uncle Azim Jah was created the first Pr
