Today is another red letter day in Indian Judiciary. Red stands for warning & Courts are playing to gallery dangerously. Along with the lady who was incarcerated in jail for about seven years in Maharashtra, a convict belonging to LTTE held for assassination to a former PM of India was also set free. Double luck as this assassin had escaped death sentence earlier & now out of Jail for good. This assassin along with his mates were  convicted by the highest court of  country. Yet propaganda on by losers now that judiciary erred in convicting him. They dare not say NOW that Court erred in releasing  convict. After going through the trauma of spinal fractures & the surgery that followed it was my first visit to Kanchipuram in three years. Earlier I have had extensive contacts for darshan as a government official but this time we decided we will be just another ordinary disciples.  We had one Chandrasekar, a junior employee now retired to guide us to temples. When we reached Kamakshi temple, we found huge crowd of thousands. I was wondering how we will have darshan of Lokamata but was sure that She will find a way for us. I was apprehensive about standing in the queue as I was scared someone might push me and hurt my back inadvertently. As we paused in confusion, I found a friend who is a Judge of Madras High Court entering the temple in all paraphernalia with his family.  I was coordinator for a Committee to monitor and control prices of onion and agricultural products set up by Ministry of Food and Consumer Affairs Ministry in 1999 when Vajpayee was the Prime Minister. The Minister Surjit Singh Barnala was the Chairman. The committee had Secretaries from five departments as Members. The committee was set up to enquire and control Prices on the aftermath of high rise in onion prices. Remember, high onion prices later catapulted Congress to Power in Delhi.   Our enquiries proved that in connivance with Mandis in Maharashtra, CongressParty had spent a meager ₹5 crores to buy onion at cheap prices directly from farmers and hoarded them at Mandis leading to an artificial rise in onion prices. Onions were sold for ₹200 per kilo due to this scarcity. They were bought for as less as 50 paise per kilo. Such a small investment brought forth great political rewards for Congress. A LONELY CRY!  For decades, lead forced life puppet like. Afraid to disagree and was terrorised to agree. At home, Appa was a mix of Communism and EVR chauvinism. Never let me speak as he alone owned facts and opinions. It was no different at work with Government. Forbidden by law to speak in public and discouraged to express independent opinion in private.
