Today is another red letter day in Indian Judiciary. Red stands for warning & Courts are playing to gallery dangerously.
Along with the lady who was incarcerated in jail for about seven years in Maharashtra, a convict belonging to LTTE held for assassination to a former PM of India was also set free. Double luck as this assassin had escaped death sentence earlier & now out of Jail for good.
This assassin along with his mates were convicted by the highest court of country. Yet propaganda on by losers now that judiciary erred in convicting him. They dare not say NOW that Court erred in releasing convict. Indeed, they may even claim that the dead ex PM was a suicide bomber himself who committed suicide by choice. What else if the convicts were innocent? Racial theories argument has deadly racial overtones & racism has been unchecked in India. Judiciary & Executive snoring on a dancing python.
To such reckless propaganda, Supreme Court fell to the trap to save its face by releasing a terror convict. Why blame laws as insufficient to wrestle terrorism in India when judiciary doesn't stick to laws of land?
Honourable Supreme Court opines that Governor has no right to decide on his own on a legislative resolution. Really? Governor representative of the Constitution in State. In case a resolution was passed in Legislative Assembly declaring the state as a separate country, will the Governor sign the dotted lines too?
Parliament represents the highest national aspirations. A Legislative Assembly is limited to state. Can a Local Body pass a resolution contradictive to a resolution in Assembly & get away? Local Body representative of grass root democracy but can't. Yet, manipulative arguments to belittle Parliament as in case of #NEET are celebrated in Tamilnadu. Should Governor become a hand maiden of state government? If he is just a post man, why can't the state govt directly send it's assembly resolutions to the Central Government?
Governor like the President is the protector of Constitution. Including the Judiciary. Judicial overreach has been unchecked as much as it's refusal to reform and redeem itself.
The release of a terrorist will please Liberals and Lutyens. But Supreme Court has let down the country by setting a bad precedent. I protest release of anyone convicted of terrorism. We need to protect the law abiding people.
Jaihind!
