Conversions are about power struggle. Not spirituality.

“The Lord Kapaleeshwarar sat watching the people of Mylapore
Amidst flowering coconut palms
Taking ritual bath in the seas in the Masi month”

Saint Poet Thirugnanasambandar wrote thus in sixth century. There are also references in sangam literature to the Kapaleeshwarar temple of Chennai as located on the sea shore.

How did the temple move to the present location and found far away from the shore? The ancient temple was destroyed by Portuguese Catholics in 1561. And on its place the present Church of Santhome built. When the present Home of Archbishop was built, stones belonging to the temple were unearthed. Instead of the Archeological Survey of India investigating into it, the whole thing was hushed up in keeping with the spirit of Indian secularism. Instead a story of martyrdom of Thomas was conceived and sold to the people. A fake tomb for Thomas was erected as approved by Vatican to convert Hindus into Christianity. Check this for story of Thomas’  tombs:

So began the attack on the old society of India. Not just a physical attack like Hitler did. But conquest of the idea of India that gave the world many religions, embraced all and enriched the world with spirituality, cultural achievements , trade and industry. While talking about conquests of India by English, French and Portuguese, historians distort it as something limited to nationalities. It was a battle of the churches for the golden pie called India which was an economic superpower for a major period of last 2000 years. Masquerading themselves as traders, invaders, missionaries, men of letters..foreign invaders had a single target. To bring the riches of Hindus to their churches and enjoy political power.

Disparagement of Hinduism as Golwalkar called found roots in earlier Islamic invasions of India. But European invaders adopted the same process to gain the successes that Mughals and other Muslim invaders had and succeeded to an extent. They mocked at hindu customs as superstitious, closed down gurukulas which gave 100% education & permitted only English education in church run educational institutions. So India has a plethora of Loyalas, Xaviers, Joseph’s, Marys, Stephens, Johns, Christian institutions. Located on prime land dished out freely by invaders or occupied by Missions so admiration for things foreign will increase and contempt for roots, heritage, culture will be propagated as reformist and modern. Don’t we all admire the education dished out by these institutions? That’s what Church desired. Don’t we admire white skin too?

Education was handed over to Christian missions. While Portuguese and French supported Catholics, the British Government became the back bone for Protestants. Funds of European invaders  flowed only to to these missions.  Reason Christians take credit for the educational system in India. Ditto on health. Hospitals run by missions were funded by government. Village physicians and clinics were closed. So people who reached out for favours from missions that ran schools, colleges and hospitals were instantly converted. It was a number game. Seemingly harmless. But the idea of culling out the rich culture of the land and make it yet another Christian country was an excercise in greed not of love.

While details of thousands of temples razed and looted by Muslim invaders were available despite happenings relate to an earlier period of time, Europeans were cunning to ensure that no such details of their atrocities were leaked out. Total censorship of writings were enforced. Madurai Collector Rose Peter’s gift of a pair of ruby stirrups to Meenakshi temple in 1812 was portrayed as generosity of British. But the theft of the 189.62 carat Orlov Diamond from Lord Ranganathar in Srirangam temple by British never made news until recently. Due credit need to be given to some collectors in Southern India who tried to be fair to the natives under pressure from converted Christians who demanded greater protection and respect for their tantrums because of their new found religious identity. Many hindu achievements including palaces and temples were brought down but interestingly none of the history books name such vents nor the perpetrators. Like the famous Naicker Mahal in Madurai. Contemporary history was all about distorting facts to a facilitate an agenda.

We all know that the Church is the single largest real estate owner on the planet. Not any government. Why does a religious body that works to help people gain the kingdom of God continuously on a mode of aggrandisement and amassing of enormous wealth? While evangelists fly by private jets, why isn’t church doing worthwhile charity anywhere? Is it the word of God that Christians who don’t follow the Bible should spread the word of bible so others can follow it? Appears so by the dwindling church attendance in the west and the fanatical new converts in India. Holier than the king indeed.

It is a well known fact that Church is guilty of crimes across the world. Sexual crimes to political subterfuges to evasions of law to amassing of wealth. Criminal cases against clergy abound in West. Lands of Africans were usurped by missionaries that lead to apartheid. It was not a coincidence that Hitler and all western mafia gangs were regular church goers. But in India, those who exposed Church were called hate mongers to derail any factual debate on the issue.

Church has now almost totally converted North east India. A recent video released by @sttalkindia about the burning of an idol of Lord Krishna along with the national flag in Mizoram went viral and was forgotten. Check this:
This proves that conversions were not simply religious, ideological differences...but efforts to finish the only continuing civilisation called Hindusthan. Conversion of innocent tribals through missions doesn’t end with conversions. Christian converts are taught to hate other religions and other Gods as organised religions took the form of maFia.

Tamilnadu has been fertile ground of localised missionaries and pastors. The clashes between Hindu natives and missionaries had existed since the arrival of Vasco da Gama in 1498. The Portuguese had a major role in converting Hindu fishermen as catholics. In the first half of 16th century, Francis Xavier converted about 20k parayar fishermen of Kanyakumari and Ramanathapuram districts. During 1543-44 he established 45 churches in Travancore coastal areas.

The East India company through the London Missionary Society and Church missionary society shifted the focus of conversion to Protestant churches in Travancore and Madras Presidencies. They focused on converting lower caste shanars (nadars) and paraiyan (shambavar) which went on till the 1930s. This lead to communal clashes and British Raj by the Regulation VII of 1817 took the responsibility for Hindu deities and began participating in their festivals. Christian communalism grew as Tamil Christians felt they were not receiving a better deal from a Christian government. Which meant they desired a higher status than Brahmins who were favoured by British though Brahmins occupied positions not because of the caste factor but because Brits felt they could trust them. Even Delhi sulthans had favoured Brahmins for the same reasons. Conversion was all about political power and favours and converted Christians were incensed that they were not treated as fellow Christians by British Christians. Or at least on a higher pedestal than Hindus.

In 1801, converted Christians demanded betterprotection than existed for non Christians. Later some 500 native Christians appealed to the British parliament for favours as those belonging to the same religion. In Tirunelveli, the Collector Sir Montgomery felt that the church leaders were creating mass unrest by creating divides between the local heathens and the new converts. He said : “ The intolerant bearing of this class of persons (church leaders) towards the heathend and the notion which they inculcate in the minds of their ignorant hearers of the temporal advantages which would follow a change of creed.putting themselves as champions of every aggrieved or aggrieving Christian, thus making each cause the cause of party of opposition “. This statement holds good even today.

Hindus boycotted  exams civil service exams in March 1846 as questions related to Christianity and its superiority over other religions. Later in 1847 the word heathen referring to Hindus and Muslims were banned from official documents by the Govt.

Xians in hand with willing atheistic Dravidian parties, manipulate to convert Hindu heritage as secular because Sanatan Dharma doesn’t dish out fanaticism of any kind. So Hindu festival of Pongal, Hindu Poet Saint Thiruvalluvar & Hindu Tamil months were manipulated as secular, meaning that these were unconnected to Hinduism. For the sake of political power, Dravidians have joined hands with hindu haters in Christianity and Islam to root out the deep culture in the garb of modernisation. Propagation based on fake information was the key.

Christians are determined uproot Hindusthan from India. Though there are many instances the violence and rapes by Christians in Tamilnadu has now been forgotten. How many of you remember the infamous Mandaikadu riots In 1983? Check a Christian version here:

Fact was that century old Masi Kodai festival at Mandaikadu Bhagwati Amman temple was objected to be Christians. Christians who were on conversion spree felt that hindu festivals were threats against their work of conversions. They also demanded renaming of Kanniyakumari as Kanyamary and Nagercoil district with a Christian name. So they attacked hindu shops and raped hindu women. Many lives were lost in police firing. The enquiry commission instituted by MGR squarely blamed the church for the violence and riots. The riots returned again in 2013 when Christians again objected to Hindu festival. Remember that the Kanyakumari district has a majority population as Christians and now Hindus live at the mercy of Church terror. Christians as a majority in the district happened within three decades.

When Vivekananda rock memorial was proposed in Kanniyakumari, Christians claimed ownership of the rock island by placing a wooden cross on it saying Francis Xavier had meditated there. Records showed that the place belonged to the Kaniyakumari temple. Christians retaliated by blocking the ferry service to the memorial claiming that dredging for ferry posed a threat to their homes. Fear based on fake information to create anarchy was experimented by Christian parish priests. Same game is being tried by them now to block the mega container terminal port in Kanniyakumari District by priests and wherever developmental projects are proposed in Tamilnadu.

Church has ungodly ambitions. Such ambitions have a disconnect with Ten Commandments or the New Testament. Their aim is to remove all other diversity and implant Bible as the only readable not followable for humanity. This will not work out because truth will ultimately prevail on the planet. Church crimes against humanity are well known:

Not many remember that the Pachaiyappas Trust launched projects to deal with this Christian communalism going unchecked. Later North Indian based charities formed educational and health projects where Hindus will not receive lessons on buying Christ.

Christianity is in cross roads now in India. Their efforts to throw away heritage and practices have failed. Even caste sticks to them. Dr Daniel Wilson, Bishop of Kolkata banned caste segregation in 1834 but he faced tough resistance. Vellalar Christians of Vepery and Thanjavur sent representations to the Governor General in Kolkata. Pariah Christians occupied the Vepery church and Vellalar Christians vacated it. 3000 Tamil Christians were excommunicated for defying ban. There was violence and Vellalar Christians felt injured, forsaken and injured. There were social crises when Protestants belonging to the Church of England were asked to pray to the Church of Rome.

Christianity adaption to hindu practices appears as the last experimental effort to increase conversions. Despite all these high voltage dramas, Christian fishermen of Kanniyakumari District address St Lucia as Kannamma and consider her the sister to Bhagwati Amman. Christians believe that during the Mandaikadu festival there would be good catch in seas. They sing during their fishing expeditions as following:
Kadal vazhi vandha Kannamma
Tharai vazhi vandha Bhagawati Amman”.
The assimilation of Christianity is on. Despite naked communalism. Despite communist and antihindu secularism, Hindusthan survived 800 years of foreign rule and 80% still cling to the old heritage. Sanatana Dharma will continue to prevail.

EVR Periyar: A checkup on facts & propaganda

If you were ever revolted by the plethora of roadside statues in India, then credit for this ever rising craze should go to that one man tsunami that brought about that infamous “Statue Culture “ to EV Ramasamy Naicker known as Periyar to his followers. As was usual with Dravidian politics, this focus and obsession of statues  ironically began as an anti idol movement to reason out faith and beliefs of Hinduism to pamper to Islamic and Christian fundamentalists and as admiration of anything western.  Breaking of idols of Lord Ganesha in Salem when Congress ruled Tamilnadu and India during early 1950s didn’t elicit even murmurs of intolerance as Hindus were subdued for over a thousand years and Secular congress was a mere continuation of that colonial British rule that was indifferent and insensitive to majoritarian Hindu sentiments. EVR called Idols as lifeless stones and called out those beliefs of honouring and worshipping them as crass and superstitious. Because of fundamental con

Recent Experience at Kamakshi’s abode Kanchipuram

After going through the trauma of spinal fractures & the surgery that followed it was my first visit to Kanchipuram in three years. Earlier I have had extensive contacts for darshan as a government official but this time we decided we will be just another ordinary disciples.  We had one Chandrasekar, a junior employee now retired to guide us to temples. When we reached Kamakshi temple, we found huge crowd of thousands. I was wondering how we will have darshan of Lokamata but was sure that She will find a way for us. I was apprehensive about standing in the queue as I was scared someone might push me and hurt my back inadvertently. As we paused in confusion, I found a friend who is a Judge of Madras High Court entering the temple in all paraphernalia with his family. I thought of shouting out for him but something deep down restrained me. Our chaperone Chandrasekhar made few honest phone calls and took us near the back door VIP entrance where a hundred were waiting for darshan. Sudd
